John Abraham is one of the most powerhouse actors that we have in the industry and there is no denying that. In the last few years, he has shown his versatility by exploring different genres and his movies are being appreciated and loved by the masses. His last few releases, 'Mumbai Saga', 'Batla House', and 'Satyameva Jayate' have soared his popularity and demand. Following the success of his movies, John has reportedly hiked his fees by 3x in 3 years. He is now charging huge amounts for his upcoming projects.

According to the latest report in Bollywood Hungama, the Mumbai Saga actor has charged Rs. 21 crores for Mohit Suri’s forthcoming film ‘Ek Villain Returns’. A source revealed to the web portal that John was paid a sum of Rs. 20 crore for Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s starrer Pathan. The report added that the actor has upped his fees and signed Ek Villain Returns for Rs 21 crore.

An insider was quoted saying, "His market rate has been on an upward swing - the amount paid for Batla House was more than Satyameva Jayate, the amount he got for SMJ 2 was more than Batla House, the amount he got for Pathan was more than SMJ 2 and finally, his fees for Ek Villain Returns is higher than Pathan. Over the last 3 years, John's acting fees have jumped from Rs. 7 crores to Rs. 21 crores.”


On a related note, Ek Villain Returns also stars Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. The movie is expected to hit the theatres in July this year on the occasion of Bakri Eid. Apart from this, the actor also has Lakshya Raj Anand's actioner 'Attack' in the pipeline.
